Informative, multilingual, richly illustrated and user-friendly
Maritim is launching its new website in time for ITB Berlin 2014. Now in seven languages and with many new search features, the website has a fresh new look, complete with a wealth of images.

Maritim Hotels have launched their completely revamped website just in time for the International Tourism Bourse 2014 in Berlin. The biggest innovation is the multilingual approach: Maritim has decided to address its main source markets in their own languages and now presents its attractions not only in German and English but also in Spanish, Italian, French, Chinese and Russian. “Through this initiative, we seek to achieve clear enhancement of our brand awareness abroad and increase direct sales in these markets, which are so important for Maritim,” is how CEO Gerd Prochaska explains this important move. "We also now offer an identical booking system on the desktop website, mobile website and – coming soon – the smartphone app, so that our guests can always make their bookings in a familiar environment," adds Prochaska. In addition, the direct link from the room descriptions to the booking system makes reserving the desired room easier.
From the moment visitors land on the home page, the greater clarity and user-friendliness is clear, enabling a direct choice between overnight stays, conference bookings and travel packages.
The conference area, in particular, features new search criteria that make it easier to find the right deal. This is especially true when it comes to identifying suitable meeting rooms and event locations outside the hotel, because, since the introduction of the Maritim Event & Catering Service (MECS), this sphere has become an important new business focus. It is now possible, among other things, to seek venues by region and proximity to the hotel or according to the type of location desired, from museums and castles to churches and historic buildings.
The new pages all provide a fresh appearance, with large, stimulating images and a great deal of information. Guests can also use the illustrated pages of the hotel restaurants to check the hotel menus and order breakfast vouchers.
The Maritim Hotelgesellschaft is Germany's largest owner-managed hotel group and the company’s nationwide hotel network is complemented by hotels in seven countries overseas: Mauritius, Egypt, Turkey, Malta, Spain, China and Latvia. The group’s ongoing expansion continues to strengthen its position within the European first-class hotel industry. For more information, please visit www.maritim.com.
