Message from the President

Dear Colleague,

I hope, you had a good start into 2014.

Many of you attended the 17th ESGENA conference in October 2013 and enjoyed a very successful nurses meeting. I would like to thank the German board for their engaged and professional co-operation before and during the conference. It was a great pleasure to work with them, and the success of the ESGENA conference is always the result of professional teamwork. I would therefore also like to thank, in particular, the speakers, chairmen, tutors, and free paper and poster authors as their engagement made the congress come alive.

In 2014, the European conference will take place in Vienna for the third time. Preparations for the European conference are underway, ESGENA and the Austrian Society of Endoscopy Nurses and Associates (IVEPA) are working together to prepare an interesting event. Nurses from all over the world are invited to submit their abstracts for free paper and poster presentations by May 31, 2014.
